Cirque de Bohème was recreated in 2008 by French native and artist, Michel Michelis, after the success of his collaborative project with the Red Moon Cabaret company in San Francisco. (And it was at the same time that Pixar Studio and John Lasseter gave Michel the opportunity to do a new character voice on the film Cars 2, for a French car, of course!)
Cirque de Bohème quickly established itself as a premiere French-American circus with its unique approach to performance, inspiring storytelling, and innovative old style circus sets staging.
Cirque de Bohème, although inspired by old 1900s century French circus, finds its roots in the Parisian circus tradition and its heart in the stories of Bohemian ingenuity.

Hello dear friends of the Cirque de Boheme!
This year, I am particularly happy to present this new show entitled "Consolamentum". But it is also with great joy that I will meet you again this winter in Cornerstone, so that we can all celebrate together the tenth anniversary of the arrival of Cirque de Boheme in Sonoma.
This original new show was written in the ruins of an old castle near the medieval city of Carcasonne in the south of France. A story that will take us down the halls of time following our beloved Bohemian, to witness the resurrection of a legend born at the beginning of the twelfth century!
Welcome to Cirque de Bohème and to the heart of this ancient legend in the footsteps of a mysterious manuscript!
